The Weeknd Drops Alternate Video For 2015’s ‘Can’t Feel My Face’

The Weeknd released an alternate video for his 2015 hit, “Can’t Feel My Face,” on Thursday (September 2).

The singer wrote on social media that the surprise drop was to celebrate the sixth anniversary of his second studio album, Beauty Behind the Madness. “6 years of BBTM,” he wrote on his post.

The video shows The Weeknd and his lover sharing moments together in a bedroom, dancing at a club, and then getting intimate again as they ride back home in a car.

“Can’t Feel My Face” hit the No. 1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 in August 2015 and enjoyed 41 weeks on the chart.

According to Variety, the new video was the original iteration of the track’s visual before a “shift in creative direction” led to the one released in 2015.
