R&B superstar The Weeknd has revealed that his upcoming album, tentatively titled Dawn, is done.
“Some Dawn updates: Album is complete. Only thing that’s missing is a couple of characters who are key to the narrative — some people that are near and dear to me, some people that inspired my life as a child and some that inspire me now,” the singer said on his Apple Music show “Memento Mori.”
He added that he will give further updates about the album’s progress “in the following months.”
The Weeknd did not reveal whether the album will drop before the end of this year, but he did tease that “some exciting features [are] coming out in the fall before the album drops.”
The singer had dropped “Take My Breath” from the album in August.
