Tory Lanez Claims He Was ‘Framed’ In Megan Thee Stallion Shooting In New Freestyle

During the course of a freestyle rendition of Cassidy‘s classic “I’m A hustla” that he delivered on “Flunk Flex” on Hot 97 on Monday (July 19), Tory Lanez claimed he was “framed” in the Megan Thee Stallion shooting in July 2000.

“On Twitter, ‘Oh he canceled,’ now I’m back here,” Lanez said and then gave a shout out to DaBaby, Roddy Ricch and Lil Baby, rapping, “Shout out to DaBaby, Roddy Ricch, and Lil Baby/What I’m about to say is gon’ sound a little crazy, but it’s true so don’t flame me/Y’all all would have got your awards if they didn’t frame me.”

Lanez’s logic perhaps is that these three artists lost their chance at nominations for the Grammys, AMA, iHeartRadio, BET awards and more, as they all had songs with him.

Earlier, in “Money Over Fallouts” on his 2020 album Daystar, Lanez rapped, “Megan people trying to frame me for a shooting/But them boys ain’t clean enough.”

Megan, who has not yet responded to Lanez’s freestyle publicly, has long contended that Lanez shot her in both feet on the night of July 12, 2020.
