Pop/R&B sensation Tyla recently released a music video for her highly successful single “Truth Or Dare.”
The video, directed by Nabil, proves Tyla’s ability to narrate a story with striking aesthetics. The visual sees Tyla meet up with a troublesome ex and embark on a disastrous car trip. She is seen riding with her hair flowing free out of the window. Towards the end of the video, the singer is seen getting her revenge.
“Truth Or Dare” had accumulated over 136 million views on TikTok as of last week.
Through her previous track “Water,” Tyla became the highest-charting female soloist in African history. The song ascended to its No. 7 peak on the Billboard Hot 100 and went on to be certified platinum by the RIAA.
On Sunday, Tyla won a Grammy for “Water” in the Best African Music Winner category.
