Yungblud has announced that his postponed 2021 Australia and New Zealand tour will be held next year.
The pandemic forced Yungblud to delay a four-date run of shows that were scheduled for September this year.
“AUSTRALIAA!!I i tried my best to come and play for you this year but after a lot of talks they won’t let me in, so im moving my shows to next year, i am upgrading the show in Melbourne to the arena so more of you can come,” Yungblud wrote on Twitter.
In another post, the singer-songwriter tweeted, “and I’m adding headline shows in Perth and Auckland in New Zealand for the very first time – i love and miss you all so much, im so sorry, i promise you i tried my best. You know how much your country means to me. These shows are gonna be fookin mental im countin down the minutes.”
As per the new plan, the tour will kick off in Auckland in New Zealand on July 20, 2022, and continue in the Australian cities of Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth and Adelaide. Perth and Auckland are new additions.
Tickets for these shows will go on sale at 2 pm local time Tuesday and at 12 noon local time on Thursday, respectively. All tickets will be available via Secret Sounds.
